New plates taking awhile

Have had the car for almost two months now and still no plates... Dealer put on the old plates and the reg sticker was up in feb, I wish they would have just kept the dealer plates on rather than these to eliminate the headache of leos thinking the reg is expired... Anyone else have an issue with plates taking a while?

Put the dealer plates back on then. You get six months in California.

beleive me if i had them they would be on... didnt realize they took them off till we got home.

why not just go to the dmv and get plates? they have a stack of em sitting there.
