Standard plaster or something fancier?

It’s diamond brite quartz plaster. I only know it’s different than pebble Tec. I know the quartz color is black and blue, but I don’t remember the name.

Looks nice. I am going to have to redo mine soon and am curious what that was. Looks better then regular plaster.

thanks, I hope it looks even better with water in it. You can come check it out before you decide on what you want to use for Your’s. I’ll figure out exactly what it is.

Looking good. Do they use the heat to speed up the dry time and pull the water out?

I was assuming that, but I didn't ask.. Water should start going in soon..

So your not one of those homeowners that hover over workers asking questions and slowing up their work? LOL I like people like you!!!

No. Not at all. People don’t walk up to the flight deck and give me advice on how to fly the plane, so I don’t tell them how to do their jobs. I also know nothing about pool building. 🤣🤷🏼‍♂️

Really like your pool! Congrats on it and the new pad.

I'm building new house and want to build something like that. . All I do is sit on the swim-out step and drink beer & your's looks perfect for that :) + the hot tub for winter time.
Here's my current set-up. New home will have bigger back porch or lanai as we call them here in Florida, like yours, so I can do built in grill, etc..

keep the pics coming. I need ideas. How many gallons is the pool?

What color travertine is that? We want white, but it seems that 'ivory' is what they consider white and that is way too yellow for our tastes. I like the gray in yours if we can't find a white...

We felt the same way, we didn’t want any yellow. It was called silver travertine. It’s a little more expensive, but totally worth it.

Go to msisurfaces.com
Or look into porcelain pavers.

We really liked the look of the silver but it clashed with the color of our house and the wall which is stuccoed the same color as the house.
