In the truck and on the way to the house now.

1967 Land Rover 109
Currently sporting a not running Ford 302, drum brakes and no transmission.

The wife doesn't like our current hobby car, too fast, too windy, too noisy, too smelly, too low. So out it goes, and in this one comes.

Engine rebuild or swap, add AC, power brakes, disk brake conversion, interior, paint, lift, coil conversion most likely, wheels and tires....

Sorry about the inheritance kids, you're on your own.

Body panels are aluminum indeed. The wiring is a rat's nest. It's gonna take a while to get back on the road.

Lol, I have been so busy lately. Work, then my daughter moved into one of our rentals. Apparently when your dad is a contractor you get a new kitchen, bathroom, skylights, etc. That sucked up most of the summer and that spare $25K I had laying around.

I bought a 99 Blazer with a 4.3 Vortec as the donor vehicle. The short V6 will fit in the stubby engine bay and should still get it around ok. I do have a shade tree mechanic to help. We expect to start stripping down the Landy soon. I know it will be a long project.

That 4.3 will be perfect in that

I'm hoping I can swap over the AC and other systems too.

There's a few great series' on Youtube for rebuilding the Series. LOL My initial plan was to treat like a Bronco restoration. But after I was $12000 in for the motor and trans I decided to scale back, LOL. I ain't poor but I also ain't crazy. Maybe a bit misguided...

I picked up this last year for my wife. It already has a SBC in it and I have a 700r4 with transfer case from a Suburban and both axles from another suburban. Should be a fairly easy swap to get those in and running.
