Just picked up this Eliminator Mohave o/b.
Big Evinrude hanging off the transom.

My question is, shop recommendation to have the motor looked over/ gone through before I decide to re-power? I live in Mesa, AZ

Give Matt a call at unlimited marine in Gilbert. He dialed in my Johnson 150 that pushes my toon, new stator, coils and plugs. Runs awesome now.

I like this boat, if you ever consider getting rid of it, let me know, I may be interested.

Pretty unique boat, never seen one with an ob. Your gonna need a new credit card for the fuel bill, those 8 carbs are thirsty.

This would be an INCREDIBLE machine with new updated outboard that's way more economical fuel wise. Hopefully that's in the budget. Cool boat

The original plan was a new 400 or 300R. But to keep the uniqueness I want to have the current engine looked over. Depending on her condition I might keep it.

Great find. When I got my Baker, noone wanted to touch the older Rudes or Johnsons. Mine had a Johnson 225 on back. Most cite the fact that parts are scarce.

Al's Outboard was the only option around and in Havasu.

Just be prepared to go down the rabbit hole with a re-power. The bleeding never ends it seems like. LOL..

I you have dreams of re-powering, I'd order the motor now! The wait times are UNREALISTIC for the average guy right now!

Look on offshore only and scream and fly some good deals on some used outboards.

Awesome find. Really cool package and she looks like she's in great shape.
