These old farts are so power hungry they’d rather burn the barn than step down and put in a suitable replacement. You see it across the political spectrum. There's word that Songbirds wife Cindy will be taking over his seat. We will see, nothing reeks of nepotism like your wife inheriting your elected seat. These country club jack offs are laughing all the way to the bank while they spend our future.

Today my family has sub par healthcare because of this asshole’s vote. It’s not even available to purchase in Arizona. Respect is earned not given.
Old Farts. Do you consider 72 old? Trump must be an old fart..lol

Looks like more democrats are upset at his passing. Is it because he was more of a liberal, or is more hate towards Trump? Hmmmm
RIP

I’ll bite one more time then I have to go work on my boat.

Songbird was 81. That’s old...

71 is approaching without a doubt. I know what you're getting at but you’ve missed the point. We all deserve better Left & Right than to be held hostage by mentally incapacitated politician. If they cant do the job, they should be replaced by a temp “not family” until the next election cycle.

I’m sure your business operates in a similar fashion? This is a non partisan issue I would think.

Apparently it's true. Events like these don't build character, they reveal it. RIP

Meanwhile

President Trump offered his “deepest sympathies and respect” to the family of Senator John McCain on Saturday night, setting aside a yearslong, bitter and often deeply personal feud between the two men that had lasted into the senator’s final days.

The president shared his condolences in a brief tweet, shortly after it was announced that Mr. McCain, who had been battling brain cancer, had died.

“Our hearts and prayers are with you!” he said.
The White House flag was lowered to half-staff on Saturday night in honor of Mr. McCain.

Vietnam vet, fighter pilot, 5 year POW and lifetime servant to our nation, but YOU don’t have any respect for him?
I feel sorry for you. That attitude is what’s wrong with present day America.
Like I said in my original post, those items I respect about the guy. Also, there were plenty of Vietnam vets that were total tool bags. But I still respect that they stepped up when called upon.

he was doing so good until he tried to take down the president by peddling that Russian dossier to the FBI.
Sadly, he won't be remembered entirely for his service to our country now.

I don't know all the details and I am sure we will never know the truth about his POW incarceration.
I am sad to say but I put him right up there with Jane Fonda.
Still, RIP Senator.

Let’s see

Crashed 5 planes, got drunk and written up all the time to only have his father the Admiral to unfuck everything he did. He crashed 3 planes stateside in training as well

His wet start of his A-4 led to the fire that killed 134 sailors and injured another 161.

Made 32 video and tapes for the NVA while a POW denouncing the USA and military so he could get better treatment then the other 600 pows that did not do that. He fought in 1991 to seal the records and prevent family’s of MIA/POW families to find out more of what happened to them because he didn’t want the public to know he was a traitor even then

Keating Five, should have been arrested and gone to federal prison

Met with Syrian rebels cough “ISIS” to help these cough moderate Islamist rebels to fight Assad. We know they were actually full blown Isis and the weapons he pushed to supply by obamas cabinet including Hillary were going straight to terrorist.

But yeah let’s pretend that a terrible naval aviator with a silver spoon from his admiral father that crashed jets because he was wreckless and almost burned and aircraft carrier down is to be hollowed words in this country. Never mind the denouncing America during the war and hiding behind the medals his father made sure he received.

I always like how they removed his name from the videos they always showed us of the fire.

Hope it's not to late, bunch of CA transplants here already.:D

Hopefully they are transplants for the right reason.
I know we are here for the right reason.
Last year I was in a position to retire, sold my house and I got the fuck out of CA.
Brown and his mob of misfits are bound and determined to destroy CA.
Socialists just don't get it.

In McCain’s case, the “wet-start” apparently “cooked off” and launched the Zuni rocket from the rear F-4 that touched off the explosions and massive fire. The F-4 pilot was reportedly killed in the conflagration. “Wet starting” was apparently a common practice among young “hot-dog” pilots.
That is from snopes, yes he caused the fire, and he also knew the Zuni rockets were unsafe.
Looks like 5 planes to me on factcheck, 1 crash , 1 possible engine problem, 1 USS Forrestal, 1 shot down (which has it's own story), 1 flight accident.

RIP to Mr. McCain, sad indeed...its also sad to see the haters that cannot agree in any one thing...but that is what the government likes to see, it's a nation of people divided by this side and that side...its a massive bunch of lies, lies from all directions designed to keep us divided, infighting, and controlled by a government that has only one goal, and let me tell ya folks, it is not the goal of taking care of Americans, that went out the door a long long time ago...one of the biggest reasons I am not involved in Politics any longer. I like my friends, and like to keep it that way, I refuse to lose any more good loving hard working friends over political differences ever again. so I am sorry, but fuck the government....
again RIP to John McCain, and condolences to his family.

RDP. :D

100% money back guarantee!
Any problems we will refund your account dues, pack your bags and even validate your parking in the way out the door. :)
Not a guarantee of satisfaction, it's satisfaction by 100% of the people that'll never exist.....unless you refund ~half of all the dues:)
It's astounding how divided our society is on politics in recent times, even with folks not normally involved.

I don't know any other way to say it. Rest In Peace to the human, but good riddance to the politician! That's about as polite as I can put it.

Well said Mark, I agree.
I retired with 34 years with DoD.
If I wanted to go back to work which I have no desire to do I can get my clearance reinstated.
As I said before in a previous post I have never had respect for McCain.
He was a prostitute like many in our political process.
I feel for the family but I will never feel for him.
Maybe he and Jane Fonda, Feinstein, Pelosi, Boxer will hit it off in Hell.
Oh I forgot about the idiot Maxine Waters.
A quote from Forest Gump, "And that's all I have to say about that"

Maybe it's a case of people realizing they are the "stupid deplorables", and identifying where the sewer smell is coming from..

Respect is earned not given.

The guy was shot down in Vietnam, sank to the bottom of a lake, had to open his floatation device with his teeth. Pulled from the lake he was repeatedly beaten, stabbed & spent 2 years in solitary confinement. At 3 years he was given the opportunity to go home, he refused unless the prisoners who were caught before him we're released as well (how un-American). This earned him weeks more of hourly beatings. Finally realeased after 5.5 years, didn't see his family for 6.

It's a shame, actually just pathetic that you put your political bias before respecting an American Hero that sacrificed so much for his country. I would prefer a quick death over what he went through.

BTW, I believe Ducey will choose his temporary replacement for a few months.

Songbirds past heroics don't over shadow his failure as an elected official to protect the interests of his constituency.
Read it and weep.

Tell that to the countless families forced to pay $1700 + a month for health insurance to the one and only insurer in the majority of Arizona.

Take your grandstanding somewhere else. I’m not interested....

Real political feelings and opinions have been repressed for decades by political correctness. The hatred and disrespect for officials in general have skyrocketed.

You don't give him credit for his heroism, instead you denounce him over dissagreement about policy. You've just stated one of the biggest problems with our country today - Party over Country.

About a year ago Trump declared Obamacare dead. I'm sure you're seeing decreases in your iinsurance rates.
