Heading to North Carolina later today to check out the area around Morganton and Lake James. I thought it would be fun to rent a boat and cruise the lake a little one day next. Checking Marina web sites and they want $500.00 per day to rent a pontoon. They look nice in the pictures but it just me and the wife for an easy cruise.
Sheesh. It's only $300.00 to rent a car for the week.
