Not sure I would have gone this route to save my sinking boat

Classic " more money than brains". He obviously didn't deserve to have any of them - no understanding of what he had. Insurance would have gotten a new boat, kept the other 2 dry, but you'd have to have an understanding of life to come to that conclusion.

That makes no sense whatsoever. What makes someone "Deserve" stuff like this? That's some snowflake Bernie Sanders shit.

He inherited north of $300 million. He’ll be just fine. I thought guys that owned their own helicopters had more common sense but guess there is always one.

When all the cool toys in the world aren’t getting you enough attention on social media, you have to do something spectacular. He probably got 50-100k new followers.

I love all the 'no brains' and 'stupid' comments here.

I know some pretty friggin smart people that have had things go sideways in odd situations.....just like this.

Its crazy to see how communities have changed. My mom grew up on cedar lake and lake del Carlia. Both lakes are shallow mud holes that are less than 10' deep. My dad would share stories about him terrorizing that lake with his ranger bass boat. The rerigged his boat from a 115 tower of power to a 175 and broke the 70mph mark. He used to prefer cedar because it was just small homes and trailers around the lake back then
