O/B not charging

I have a 2002 Johnson 90 hp v-4, looks like it is not charging the battery. Where do I start? Thanks.

at the battery.

Check the battery 1st, then the connections, then the wires, then the charging system.

Check volts at battery
charging should be 12.5-13

check your stator coils for a burnt coil bunch they should be a bronzy color.

or maybe your rectifier.
