its a hippy fest

The Occupy movement is much like hippies from the 1960's. They stood for nothing and accomplished nothing. Same thing will happen this time. These idiots just want to feel part of something, a "movement". A bunch of people unite with no clear goal... Real smart. It amazes me some of these people are college graduates.

On the news right now.............. Showing cops trying to detain someone. Using force obviously cuz the knucklehead ain't quite cooperating. Actions look pretty normal to me. No excessive force. But you got some dipshit in the background yelling police brutality. Idiot.

I think that everyone of them should get a citation from the LAPD. And when they find out what the cost is to rehab the park and for the LAPDS effort for tonights eviction. They should all be treated equal and split the cost. :skull

Approx 25 tons of trash that will be picked up on our dollar. Bullshit!!!
These idiots are costing us more and more! Bail is set at 5k for those who were arrested and they are complaining. Maybe that will keep them in there and make them think about getting arrested again. Fuck the "movement". If anything it is causing more problems and money than good.

Maybe they should leave them in jail and put them in a "work" program so they can make this money that they are bitching about. :D

I have never completely understood it. I dont think they understand it either except its a place to hang out.

Perhaps a guest speaker like Zig Ziggler could help them out.

Ha...haven't you heard? Herman Cain was just nominated the new CEO of Occupy.

And rightfully so, occupying dark and dirty spaces seems to be his specialty :D

According to the news this morning, they were caught way off guard, a lot were arrested, but, how much did all those ( someone may hate me for saying this) fools accomplish, it has to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to clean up that mess, I saw they were bringing in Bio-hazard workers because of what the idiots were doing, I find it ridiculous, I asked my son if the talk at school amongst his peers was involving the occupy stuff, nope , most of them should just go find a job and do what we all do, go to work and try to make ends meet during this downfall in the economy !

I'm sitting here thinking there is a TON of money to be made on this deal, and I could CREATE JOBS!!!!!

So, here's what I do:
Set up a contract with the city Gov't to clean up this mess, and then hire a bunch of people with an ad on CraigsList, provide all the supplies to perform the cleanup, negotiate with a waste hauler to haul the mess away...
Bus the employees from city to city to clean the sites after authorities got the people out...

I swear this is a very viable business opportunity. If you leave it to FEMA or the city, you know it will get fucked up...

The city/state would get back a portion of the money through the taxes taken out of the employees pay, I would be generating business and job opportunities with the waste haulers and the dump, the employees would need to eat lunch so the local restaurants would have business/income - which in turn they would pay taxes on...
The trickle-down on this would be large.

Ideally, hire the occupiers, pay a "fair" wage, and through the taxes they pay, they would essentially be paying to clean up their own mess...

I know there are flaws in this plan, but, help me out. Who wants to brainstorm and figure out the solution?

Nah,

ALL the work is done by LA city UNION workers, lord knows we have enough. They need to do something/lol

I was one of those "HAZMAT" looking dudes after Metropolitan Division guys took all the fun away/HAH!

We had 4 teams of Bomb tech's/Hazmat/Bomb K-9 check the area after it was cleared for any hazardous devices. All piss and shit, as expected. 2 generators, small I"m told, were left behind.

Our BAT CAT robotic telehandler made getting the idiots out of the trees as easy as picking fruit.

Say what you will about LAPD, Metropolitan Division pulled this one off with utmost tactical supremacy. 400 officers walked the tunnel underneath the city hall from a block away, the protestors were fixated on the 50 patrol cops out front of PAB, ran out into the street, and, wham!, got blocked by Metro from getting back to their tents. Too funny, like taking candy from a baby. 200 arrests, about 450 protestors, 1,400 COPS. Guess you don't want to act stupid when it's 4 to 1 odds you'll end up in the friendly LASO bus to give you a shower, 3 hots and a cot at MCJ.

I wouldn't let a dog live in those conditions, shit everywhere,(human), piss everywhere, they even posted signs reminding people to wipe hands, wipe toilet seats.

Talk about wasted energy, time on an un named cause.

Oh well, problem solved, minimal force, and idiots are off public property.

See, you go through and get them the fuck out, and then my team comes in to clean up the mess. I bet my way would be cheaper;)

agreed, but the city has to spend more on it's own lazy, overpaid disabled work force to justify spending more and more tax money. Seems vaguely familiar?:D

I know which tunnel you are talking about. We do a lot of work at CCB and the tunnels under that place are crazy.

You're right that is a great video, pretty much nails it.

:thumbsup

LOL.... That was a good video. But what Barrymac forgot to say at the end of his commentary, was that not only do the protesters need to grow up, they need to stop being lil' bitches. :D So sick of the land of entitlement. Suck it up, buttercup. From Generation X, to Generation Next, to Generation EXPECT. Buncha pansy ass punks. :skull
