So Im looking into getting a side by side possibly sometime soon. We have a connection at a Yamaha and Kawi dealer so I can get a good deal on them. I was wondering though, what are your guys' opinions between the 2? Or is the RZR just that much better? It would probably be used out in the desert mostly and maybe a little lake use during the summer to run down to the store. I think I would like to be able to haul around 4 people but like I said if the RZR is that much better than I can deal. Also, do the Kawis and Rhinos fit in the bed of a full size extended cab short bed truck?

well you can buy mine :)
it's listed here on this site plus

http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/rvs/616397708.html

As for them fitting in a short box truck, I was told they will with NO wheel spacers. however, it puts a serious load on the tailgate. I've seen the back on jack stands plus i've seen them use metal to spread out the load/weight.

I have a little trailer low profile i put mine on. it fits in the garage as long as I strap the rhino down in 4 places for it to clear the door opening. once its in the garage i release the straps to the suspension isn't loaded.

they're fun as hell but you can throw a lot of money at them in a hurry.

You can have mine for $12K
title in hand and will deliver to HAVASU

DON'T DO IT!!! JUST SAY NO!!!

Seriously though, they're all kinds of fun, just have a wierd way of separating you from your money...and it never seems to end. Personally, I wouldn't buy a new one. For the price of a new one, you could get one that was pretty well tricked out from a private party... There are some serious deals out there these days... the toys are the first things to go...

Yeah I was thinking about that too. Im waiting to see what kind of pricing my hook-up can get me. Im going to have to go the financing route so that is the primary reason Im thinking of a new one. Im not too sure the higher credit rate for financing a used ATV through a credit union along with the possible necessary insurance would be worth it. We'll see though.

If I do decide to go the new route though, what are your guys' opinions?

I'd get one with the SPORT pkg.
the shocks are a very important thing.

Then, upgrade seats/belts/cdi/clutch/rollcage/tires//rims/filters/suspension

oh shit thats mine to a tee ...... lol:D

seriously get a sport.!!! more money, but the suspension / color plastic is a lot better than a special and or a regular rhino......

Yamaha financing might not be the best route.. check your credit union/bankcard. my buddy did a cc transfer for 9k and got a fixed rate of 3.9%.. way cheaper than yamaha/credit union/ even heloc.....
