So my brother and I are heading to havasu Saturday to get his boat serviced and see if we fixed the problem on my old js550. I am almost positive it's an exhaust leak I hope to have fixed. Do you guys know anyone in town that carries some of these old parts in case I needed a new water box or exhaust. Maybe someone in town that is available to give it a look if we can't figure it out? Thanks for your help.

If it runs with the hood off but not on its a exhaust leak.
Put it on a stand at body beach. Let it idle for awhile.

I had some old school clamps on the exhaust that kept falling off so I think that that was the problem. I got new clamps and tightened everything together. Plans changed and we aren't headed to havasu anymore but I am tempted to take it to perris or elsinore to run it. I am just thinking that water will be freezing still.
