Hey guy,.

I bought this 76 Tahiti Mini cruiser. It has been sitting 5ish years
What do you think of this fiberglass failure? Looks like the fiberglass failed on a floor replacement, to my uneducated eye.

I cut into here in the next few days and see what's going on.
I was hoping the boat would be in good enough shape to play with this summer,. and save the major fixes for winter time but we will see.

Definitely failed. That's a lot of glass. Not sure from the picture what problem they were trying to fix or what it was supposed to be holding together. I'd peel it off and go from there.

Boat has a center stringer. Floor is structural and is one side of the triangle that makes the hull rigid. Stringer is probably rotten.
Motor stringers and transom have rot? Is the toe board intact? Not a big deal if it’s just floor and stringer, check the hull for stress fracture though if it was run like that.
On closer look you’re gonna be busy with zek grinding products.
Start a build thread.
