Our first vdrive…1967…Glen L with a 390 Caddy.
Big Bend and day camping at the beach that would become Buckskin. Note…no Echo Lodge camping across the river yet!

I was 7 then..,still love it.

It's a shame Glen L closed. They provided plans and parts for the homebuilder, and they're a part of SoCal and Arizona boating history. When I rebuilt my Howard, I bought all new cav plate fittings, strut bearings, rudder stuffing box, and other parts from them.

Was surprised to see photos from Havasu Springs. The River was the Parker Strip. Seemed there was no Lake Havasu then. Looking back, The River fit our boats and visa versa. Amazing times and memories.
