Thank you for posting that. My grandfather who passed 3 years ago was a retired Marine First sergeant with 22 years of service spanning 3 wars. WWII, Korea and Vietnam. One of my most cherished memories was at Disneyland at the flag lowering ceremony watching him and the other veterans step forward to be honored as the flag was lowered. Even more impressive was the age range of the veterans and watching the younger veterans shake the hands of the older veterans. I will always remember that day....
