One Year Review- DiMarco21's Rudder Bearing Box

After one complete season, I'm happy to report zero defects with the new bearing equipped rudder box DiMarco21 fabricated for my race boat. The rudder was removed recently for re-certification and showed very minimal wear at the bearing contact area. The rudder box main seal and inset o-rings were in good shape and routine replacing was not needed. Similar to his prop shaft unit, the rudder box requires much less maintenance than a conventional stuffing box; very little greasing.
