I've asked a few friends and it seems to be split as am I. Should I leave it bone stock or tint the windows and bag/lower it? Also that's another question, bag it or lower it just a couple inches? This company has a kit for it and it's considerably cheaper than bags. Anybody have any experience with this company?

Id personally tint the windows and bag it if you have the cash. You cay just lower it a couple inches but i believe Bags would ride nicer.

Tint it and bag it. If you think you’ll be happy with it dropped a couple inches and the car can stay useable, then do the static drop.

Greg,

If you bag it, it will be a total pain in the ass. I'll give you a call tomorrow.

Do what u wanna do, the fact that you're thinking bout lowering it and tinting it means u wanna do it, so just do it.

My vote is bags and tint, but I don't need people seeing what I'm doin in my cars.

Leave it, lowering it will make pot holes, steep curb cuts and speed bumps a pita

My opinion, if it were mine, I would bag it, and put larger rims on it. Not giant, probably 18's or so, but something set to look like an earlier 50's era center cap. I'd set it up with the biggest bags able to fit in the chassis, so ride height is accomplishied with minimal pressure. Since it's a cruiser, it will keep the ride quality decent. A simple setup, like an AccuAire all in one tank/manifold setup, and proximity switches set to ride, and dump it when parked. Depending on what you have for a stereo system, you just have an upholstery shop do a false back between the trunk and back seat, out of sight with the tank and such.

...and no, I wouldn't tint the windows. The body lines, and it being a dark color, need the glass for contrast. If you tint them you'll lose some of the deffinition.

Like I said, that's if it were mine. Cars are like boats, everybody has different tastes. I've done hydros on Impalas, and air ride on trucks with 54" tires...I'm kind of mercenary that way. They're all just toys for someone. Whatever "Floats Your Boat";)

GRADS, you already know it needs to look like the Lincoln below.

With the modern larger caddy repro wheels instead of the steelies.

Bagged or leave it stock. Tints should be very light if any because of the chrome. If it was murdered out, dark tint may look ok.

As a long time hot rod guy, I tend to modify shit but that car I'd leave it as is. Too cool and classy to fuck it all up.

Unless you're one of those guys that wear flat bill hats with Monster energy drink logos, black Tap Out t-shirts and high socks with baggy shorts and have a bunch of stupid tattoos, then go ahead and slam that sucker to the ground, throw in a giga watt bumping stereo system, murder it out and keep fucking it up to the point that it is no longer enjoyable to drive but all the 13 year old kids (and adults with 13 year old maturity levels) will think it's really cool!:cool::D

What do you do in your car ? What you should be doing is paying attention to the road and controlling your vehicle

Lowered on stock wheels and caps, ghetto.
Lowered on 18s or wires, gangster.

I am in the same dilemma with mine. Except I have all the shit to bag it. If you bag it, don’t go cheap. People say air bags ride like shit. When they are done correctly they literally float on a cloud of air. My bus is on bags and people are amazed at the ride quality for the size of it. Here is a pic of my caddie. I daily drive it when the weather is nice. Was supposed to be a flipper but I fell in love with it. Nothing looks better than a laid out land yacht.

2 ways to look at it ... if u leave it stock then we look like old guys driving around some old car that we inherited ... drop it 3 inches, tint it lighter and change out the wheels and tires then u got a cool bad ass car that can show up anywhere and own the cool factor. IMHO .

Too cool and very clean looking as is. I would do a light tint and maybe couple inches of drop. No need to impress gangsters.;)

And the flat billers as well........

To be honest there is not much difference between the 2.. everyone seems to agree keep the car's body near stock. We are really just going back and forth over stance and wheels.
