That's crazy price. I have a very similar boat in much better condition, lower hours, big block. I would not pay that. I feel like I got a great deal now.

Let's not forget mine doesn't have seadoo damage.🤣

That is one clapped out boat. That damage is through a few colors of gel too and looks like it runs through both top deck and bottom.

Kinda sad as some family at one time was so excited to pick it up when brand new to only have it end up like this.

Orange county boat repair can fix it right up. Had very similar damage to my Ultra from a rental boat at Naci. Cost me like $3500 if I recall around 15 years ago.

15 years ago...I guarantee you that will be A LOT more now. Fiberglass repair has gone stupid.

Not to mention that clapped out floor.

Some insurance company totaled this thing. He is now selling the salvage he retained.
There is no salvage title in CA. Same Ultra I got paid out on by insurance from another accident. Bought it back for $1800. It would sell for 40k with current market. River neighbor Bought 1 a few months ago like this one posted but nice condition for 37K. I couldn't sell mine 6 years ago for $14K. It resold 3 years ago for 22k. Market is crazy.

I don't know it its the same boat, but the colors are the same and looks are very similar to a boat I looked at back in January. It was priced right, but the seller was a scammer and claimed he didn't know anything about the boat. The boat I looked at had been hit on the port side right by where the hatch closes. It was a horrible repair job. I'm wondering if this is the same boat sold to someone else that got yet another hit.

Pay once, cry once. I'd rather pay more and not have any headaches.

I was thinking he had a Huge deductible, and zero cash on hand.

Just a tad over priced! 😝

It's been dropped, 17,000.

It is a nice looking boat, the colors are good but overpriced.

and the boat name, “Zombie.” So appropriate, that’s priceless.

Maybe I'm the only idiot on here, but I don't think he's too far off the mark starting at 17.. Figure it will sell for 14'ish.. Repair the damage for 5'ish.. New carpet 2'ish.. You are gonna be into mid 20's. Hard to say if the interior will come back or not, but if it does someone could be in it right.. If it doesn't, you are gonna end up paying retail price for the boat when your done at upper 20's.

you could get new carpet for like $500... but its the taking out all of the seats, side panels, the entire bow "cup" with the seating would need to come out, etc... its a lot of labor. i did it on my warlock (pretty much same boat). then you discover that 99% of the bolts were just steel and rusted to hell or they're stripped out of the original flooring.

You put carpet on the side panels? I don't think I have ever seen that before.

Well I didn't think it was that crazy an ask when I saw the ad last week. I'd put grey seadek where ever there was carpet and have the fiberglass fixed and away i go. Probably have to change the name of the boat I'm not sure to what though. "IoverpayedforthisPOS" would be about right

I'm sure the outdrive and engine are perfect, as is the trailer as well.

Pride of ownership shows. 👍🙄

5k max for this thing.

I know that boat values are out of control but even after doing all that work I don’t think that boat with its 250 hp alpha package would get anywhere close to the mid or high 20’s. New that thing with that power was right at about 30K. Given the choice, for the same money I'd be all over this.

In 2000 they were $24,999 new. Ad on the front of the boat trader. I went to the 818 location to buy 1 new. It was a 6-8 month wait. So I bought a 22 Stealth of the showroom floor that was built for the boat show. Wanted it in time for Memorial Day weekend at Naci for my 21st birthday.

I always like hearing stories like this, you were 21 with the means to get your own new build. Not many 21 year olds have the ability to do this.

Hell when I was 21 I was on my 3rd boat and it was an old Baja hammer, I could only dream of a new ultra back then

I know right.. I've bought the clapped-out car equivalent of this boat last year..

I learned real quick that anything that may or may not be broken, is most CERTAINLY broken and in a way that you'd think is impossible to break. Oh and everything that's broken has a mickey mouse repair job on it already meaning you have to cut welds, epoxy and god know what else just to get to the problem lol
