A fun quik day ride destination. It starts by trailering a Polaris XP4-1k that we sometimes call Black Mamba from Havasu to Topock and then driving it to Oatman along an old section of Route 66.
Gas up the rzr, throw some ice over some beverages in the cooler, hook up the trailer and we are on our way.
It was a warm breezy day, so my copilot/wife reminds me how important it is to stay hydrated while I unload the rzr.
Time to roll out, wait... Just one thing to do before we ride off.
Probably could done that anyplace along the way, but the nostalgia at Topock 66 is just setting the vibe for the ride.
It's a bit over twenty miles to our destination on a paved road. Being in the rzr gives us the opportunity to follow a few of the dirt trails along the way to some cool stuff away from the highway along the way.
