I have a garage with low ceiling height. Door = 9x7. Does anyone know how much height I need above the door opening for the springs/pulleys/shaft?

It has a one piece, non-folding door right now.

Typically you need 12" but with a low headroom kit and a capable installer it can be done in as little as 4"

For the record, low headroom kits suck :D

It's almost impossible to get the top section to seal the opening with a LHR kit. You need an opener to shove the door closed - which is tight to fit in.

Wow. You're smarter baked on weed than most people are sloshed on booze.

Thanks, J.
