I'm 100% with him in regards to his fight against the establishment, BUT the money that will be required to implement all the bullshit he's spewing is only available in Utopian paper. Your boy will add 10 trillion by the time he's done. :thumbsdown

This country will change when the far left and far right come together and rise up against the scum RINO's & Dem's in DC. That will only happen after the collapse. Bernie will get us there quicker, that's for sure! ;)

All Sanders has proven in my opinion after reading much of his background, is he can't earn a living outside of politics or writing radical anti establishment rants. His actual accomplishments in those 2 vocations are questionable at best. He's never been able to do much more than talk himself onto committees. His whole life is built upon theory and supported by the government of which he's done nothing but condemn.

Real body of work for such a nice guy. How anyone could support this socialist grunt is way beyond belief. But libbies never come up short in how low of a life form they will support just because they must right in thier own heads......:rolleyes

Bernie has never even authored a bill while in the Senate. Never done anything from what I can tell but sign on as a sponsor of other people s bills

I find it funny that people here try to defend their political party and their personal views by bashing another member's political party and views.

Let me ask you guys, what has your political party done for you? What has Obama done for you? What did George Bush do for you? What did Clinton do for you? etc......

Well I'll give you the answer to save you some time.....absofuckinglutely nothing. They have completely ruined this country and the next president will continue down the same path. Do you guys honestly think we're going to be better off if we have a republican in office or a democrat? They are all the same. This is why it's not worth arguing down here.

I'll just continue being the president for my wife and kids and teach my kids personal accountability and to endure and come out on top no matter who is president and no matter what is going on in our country and hopefully one day they will do the same for their spouses and kids.

The odds are definitely stacked against the next bastard to sit in the chair, but to say a R or D does not make a difference is a reach.

They're all scum, but if you're trying to imply what I think you're trying to imply..................Good job T......:D

So you say you're perfectly comfortable having COTUS appoint two at a minimum and probably three Justices to the SC?

You really think that will have no affect on you and your family?

Gotta love that poster. Sure they'll get you more money then they'll take it away and then some to pay for healthcare and housing for all the illegals that'll be coming over the open boarder. They'll take out money for free college and then welfare for all the people who shouldn't have been in college, but the teachers passed them anyways and now their or anybody else's diplomas aren't worth squat.

Oh yeah, the D's are going to take from everyone who has a job to give to those who don't and won't. Sounds like good deal if I was a bum.

So you are saying that Trump and Bernie, along with Hillary and Cruz, are all exactly the same ?

So you are saying that 'elections don't matter any longer' ?

So you are saying that Republicans will 'hammer' on big business using the EPA ? Obama does .

So you are saying that a Republican will repeatedly go on TV or speak out on inflaming race relations ? Obama does.

So you are saying that we should just go back to our 'cubicles' and let this country and our way of life go wild ?

    Just asking ..........

Think if a founding father came back from the dead.

They clearly stated that only white male landowners could vote and slavery was part of the fabric of America. A woman had no place in society, work or government, only in the home. There was no "in god we trust" on the currency and there was neither a pledge of allegiance let alone the insertion of the phrase "under god" into it. No federal income tax and a constitution that basically stated that the only powers of the federal government was to provide for a public defense, print money, and in rare cases "regulate interstate commerce".

One wonders if they would be talking about how "their" way of life had gone wild?

    I would hope not.

I really care more about who we have in Congress and the Senate as they make the laws and write and approve the budget. Though who the next president is will mean a lot when it comes to picking the next few supreme court justices and this is what scares me the most about a dem president.

Your blanket reply is not valid, since Trump is still a private citizen with 'free speech rights', Obama is attacking the coal and oil industries with 'political power', and whom but you would equate those four people in the same 'category' ?

So we have one (above) who seems to have given up all hope with US government and will try to teach his family how to live in this country's future, without his input .

Next we have Mr 530 who 'hearkens back the good old days', over 200 years ago . Unbeknownst to Mr 530, we are living in a Republic, and it has always had change, and will always continue to change, until another form of government takes over this country .

So I see, one who seems to be giving up, along side another who thinks we are traveling back in time to suffer once again this country's former troubles all over again . WE are NOT at the same crossroads as 200 years ago, not even 100 years ago, those people were in possession of COMMON SENSE .

This REPUBLIC has always had a 'socialist element' within it's borders for over 100 years, possibly more . The problem today, is that the 'social fabric' of this country has never been in the place it is today .

Back in the 1920's when the 20th century's most prominent US Progressive, President Wilson was in office (power to make hope and change happen), the majority of US citizens were; poor, worried about war, suffering crop failures, starving, with little 'welfare' to be found . Help came mostly in SOUP LINES, or BREAD LINES and church groups, not EBT CARDS, cell phones, and WIC .

So in today's 'social fabric', we see Progressives demanding that every worker be equal, all pay levels be equal, all genders, trans genders be equal, and 'all citizens be taken care of by the state' . Yet they no not how it's paid for, and they don't want to know, because their DEMANDS will be put back onto their own heads IF they get jobs and work .

Today's 'young voters and workplace outcasts' have had little to do with building this country, and much to do with how social attitudes and polling numbers play out on TV and social media . They also control two major voting blocks, when elections come around .

Have the US voters done a poor job of guiding this country ? YES, political correctness has poisoned our government . But we can take that control back, hopefully before another Progressive gets into the White House, and controls this country to death . Sure, we also need to get rid of the 'large political families and money machines', but retaining, supporting and rebuilding THE REPUBLIC FIRST should be the order of the day . Even God didn't do everything in the first day, so it may take 5 more days to get all the problems corrected . This country is worth it .

Can we go back to 1776 ? NO, today we have so many more types of divisive elements, foolish welfare programs, a false expected level of living standard, the LIE of income equality that drains the desire to work, the stumbling block of 'foolish political correctness' instead of truth, and the most important point of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY .

This journey must begin with one step, or ONE VOTE . I will not give up, I've lived thru the Obama years and I never want to see the like again .

I fight to uphold the USA as a REPUBLIC, and I yield neither to those who 'give up', those who 'wish to compare to the olden days', and especially those who would promote 'socialism' and cast away this Republic all together .

^^^ AZ, I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you...but who among the current candidates solves our issues, or even puts on the path to a solution?

IMHO none of them, and I don't think I'm alone in this sentiment.

Presidents have great effects on the business climate. Under Bush the the state of Texas prospered as agencies like the EPA weren't making stipulations on coal and clean coal power plants. O came in with his war on coal and plans for multiple units were stopped. This decision took away 1,000's of long term jobs and 10's of thousands shorter term construction jobs. Small businesses lost great opportunities. Under Bush the GoM was full of drilling rigs. After an accident, O stopped all drilling with a moratorium and rigs left for foreign destinations taking jobs all associated business with them.

So in my opinion, 2 WH occupants did effect me and my family.

We adapt to survive, but the need to adapt is often driven by decisions made at the top. And that does indeed include what has been for us or not.

Totally agree, Presidents have a profound affect on the way the country runs. Take for example gun control, if either of the Dems land the Presidency it will be a constant attack on the Second Amendment, a conservative lands the Presidency probably not much to worry about. Presidents set many courses of action for Congress.

I'd vote against the COTUS and the commie if it would make a difference but my vote is useless in Cali anyway.

I've been saying all along Trump is COTUS insurance, the only candidate that makes her appointment plausible.

I think the left that has her slated for appointment is actually shocked with the support a brain dead communist has garnered.

Great post AzGeo, this has given me a much better insight and hope on the current thinking I believe of the "silent majority" of US citizens.:thumbsup
530RL l beleive is not "living in the past" but he is (l hope he is a guy :D) reflecting on how times were maybe a little less complicated than they are today. Reflection can be a good thing in respect to comparing now against than.;)

Looking from the outside in, it appears to me that there is a total dissatisfaction with the "entrenched and for life Political elite" (it's the same here as well). I find it extremely hard to support ANY politician who tries to tell their citizens how they should conduct their businesses or earn a crust when the majority have NEVER contributed to the country's bottom line only just taken from their citizens pockets.:thumbsdown

Trump can be rude, obnoxious, and confronting BUT he does make sense in what he is trying to do in regards to how the USA should be treated when asked to help other countries out (you will never get a Political hack going down this line, ever), getting some form of compensation for putting the lives of US citizens on the line, now that's a good thing.

His stance on "illegals" is refreshing and justified and we in Australia have had a "TURN THE BOATS BACK" approach on illegal immigrants and it has succeeded all expectations. It has stopped the 'people smugglers' from putting the lives of innocent women and children at risk from drowning at sea (and sadly there was thousands), which was reaching epic proportions. We, like yourselves love and embrace all legal immigrants that's what our countries were built on, ok, maybe we also had few convicts thrown into the mix as well.:D

Lastly, I feel "Political Hacks or lifers" are a disease of modern civilisation and that, you can take to the bank.

    And i was right wasn't I.

Nobody gives a shit about the debt, because nobody is willing to do anything to fix it, they can't get on the ticket if they try.

You run on a platform of fiscal reform, the media marginalizes your campaign, they keep you in the corner of the debates with very little exposure, and you get 2% of the vote.

    We have the idealistic world
    and the pragmatic one.

In the idealistic world we'd be able to have a candidate willing to swallow that pill.

In the pragmatic one we get Trump who exposes just how fucked up the entire system is.

Yes you were right. The only difference at this point is what we spend on.

Although that is not really accurate as in the current administration The Republicans and Democrats are working well together to make sure all spending gets passed.

Awe yes the good old days before 5 hundo became "brain damaged", stainmaker was landing haymakers, LilGeo was crushing the keyboard, Reeegie was complaining about the 10 Trillin debt, Raceums last post of sanity, Vicious still had his balls, and even found a couple "GPAU's" from the nut swingers. Yea the good old days of heavy hitters & broken hymens! :(

It’s crazy...Epstein rumors were swirling for well over a decade before he was charged.
