2006 Chevy 2500hd 6.0 gas. Got a P0358 right now. I had it scanned at AutoZone. Ignition coil. Anybody got any tips and tricks to make this as easy as possible?

Thats going to be coil #8 malfunction. Last digit of the code refers to the coil thats bad P0351-P0358. The coils are fairly easy to change on the ls based motors (on top of the valve cover). Not sure whats in the way on the 6.0 in terms of #8 but may want to youtube it.

Thanks buddy! My friend called me yesterday and said to check the heater/coolant lines at the firewall. They are right above #8 and if the hoses leak, they will tear up that coil

No problem. That is a common problem on my f150 too. Changed quite a few coil packs over the years. Good luck and hopefully its an easy fix.
