What is a good 12v pump. I'm too thrifty to spend $200 on one. LOL. I'm more of a $50 dude.

But seriously, what is a decent one for a reasonable price? It needs to be able to fill two 11 footers without a cooling break.

We use this one on our boat for our paddle boards and regular floats also. Inflates the boards in only a couple minutes. Prices have went up though, we got ours in 2018 for $32.00.

This is what I use, fills quick then top off the pressure with the hand pump. Keep it on the boat for the kids tubes also.

I got the pump. Did @DaytonaBabe or @River918 modify, or build another hose?

The hose is kinda short, so I was thinking of getting a longer length of some hose, and hose clamp the fittings on.

We don't have a short hose problem at my house. Just sayin' [emoji6]

No, I didn't modify mine. The one it comes with works for me

I saw Costco has the Body Glove Performer 11 back on the shelves, if anyone is looking for an inflatable SUP. I've been very happy with ours.

How much did you see it for? Do you think that size is too big for a 9-10 year old?

They are $399 with a paddle, a backpack, a hand pump, and a little dry bag for your phone or keys or whatever.

I have kids use mine. They paddle really easy, and track straight. I think it would be ok. My Ole lady is 5' 2", so I think a kid would be fine. Buy it, try it, and return it if it is too much.

She used a 9’6” one 2 weeks ago and did great. That one was 30” wide. I was wondering if the extra width would get in the way of her paddling. But we are only talking a couple inches on an 11’ board anyway.

And I guarantee I've spent a lot more time on a paddle board than you have.

I saw some at Walmart for $150 the other day. I don’t remember the size, but if it’s just for your kid you can’t really go wrong.

My wife bought that one a few years ago. Loves it and uses it all the time.

If it is just for your kid, the walmart one is fine for now. If you want to use it also, get the Costco one. It glides through the water easily.

If it was 2020, you could have bought the Costco board. If it was too big for the kid, you could have sold it for a profit. Win Win. LOL

What are people using for a good clean on he board? We wipe them down when they come off the water, but there are some marks I want to clean off.

I've got a Hobie Elite 12'6" board. I use Hot Sauce on it. The Paddle strike marks, most wipe off, others don't.

We have had the the Body Glove iSUP for 3 summers now. They have held up well, and have zero wear and tear on them.

I bought the $59 pump from walmart online. It worked for about 3 outings then died.

So I ended up loosening the purse strings (to $100. LOL), and bought this one. It has worked flawlessly.
