La Paz County Park will play host to one of the greatest spectacles in boat racing- The Reliable Diamond Tool Parker Enduro Presented by Nick Rose Insurance, Nordic & Hallett Boats, Advanced Contracting Group, Integral Products, Absolute Speed & Marine of Lake Havasu, Brink Property Management, RaceTec Pistons, Parker Oil, Hot Rods & Hobbies, Amber Electric, Wired Up Havasu, Ron Lund Wood Specialties & Speedboat Magazine. This historic event will take place on October 30th, 2021, where the normally calm waters of Colorado River will test the mettle and will power of the racers and their equipment. Look to see some familiar faces and some brand-new ones that are up to the challenge. The race will be 4 hours on an approximately 6-mile course, from La Paz County Park down 3 miles (Riverland/Keys) and back. Who will win their respective Division to claim the title of of “King of the River”? The 5-time overall winners and defending Parker Enduro overall champions, the #192 Nordic Racing, Randy Davis, Gordon Jennings Jr. & Billy Dunsmore will be racing to defend their title. The overall winner will receive the “Marion Beaver Cup” dedicated to the memory of the founding father of the event who passed in 2007.

A throwback to the heyday of powerboat racing's most prestigious endurance race - The Parker 9 Hour Enduro where inboards vs. outboards, flats vs V bottoms, jets vs. I/O's race for 4 hours on the 6-mile course from La Paz County Park & back (3 miles each way). 4 hours is the ultimate test on water of man & machine vs the elements.

This race is open to all boating enthusiasts from the novice weekend warrior to the professional powerboat racer and everyone in between. The Race is modeled after the original 1963 “Parker Enduro” with all boats entering the contest to be a minimum length of 16 feet up to a maximum of 25 feet with any motor configuration (inboard, outboard, IO, Jet). Based on the boat and motor configuration the team will designate a racing division (1 thru 7) per the official rules that govern the race www.rpmracingent.com.

The breathtaking “Le Mans” start will open the event with all racing divisions taking off at once. Safety is of the utmost priority and there are strict rules regarding passing and overtaking boats. Fuel stops consist of a minimum of two (2) – eleven (11) minute stops on the trailer in the team’s pit designation so, like in NASCAR, fuel stops will play an important role.

The National Water Ski Racing Association will have two races prior to the start of the Enduro. Some of the best water ski racers in the world will be on the line and the action is sure to be intense!!

Come and join in or watch this prestigious event and see with the many other racers, boat manufacturers and aftermarket manufacturers that have already signed up to race for bragging rights and their share of the prize money and see who will be crowned “King of the River”! Coach T’s award winning BBQ will be on site and don’t forget to pick up a souvenir T-shirt commemorating the race!

Spectators are welcome. $10/vehicle to park in La Paz County Park (paid at entry gate).
