Hi!

Hope all are well

Then I have put the 450R in the shopping basket, and if I am lucky I will receive it in August since the dealer made an order 5 months ago. Lucky me.

I will post the rerigg and performance data.

During the 23 years I have owned my boat, I have run several engine configurations:

Johnson V8 3.6 GT 300hp + = 75 mph
Promax 300 SVS - 75 mph
Twin Merc 2.5 Efi SS w/PCU = 87 mph
Verado 350 Sci = 81,5 mph
Verado 400R = 89 mph

So we see what we can get out of the 450R. Possibly 95 mph with the same type of propeller - Max5. Maybe more with a 5bl Hill / Merc cleaver.

Look forward to it !

Cheeers, Toffen

Hi ! Its the same boat. Its a 1985 model Phantom 25 from UK. I bought it in 1998, then equipped with the Johnson GT 300. The most fun to drive was the twin 2.5 EFI SS with PCU's. But USD 300 in fuel and oil per hour stopped me using them after 6 years. Great sound too ! The best engine has been the 400R, although the mid range punch could have been stronger. The 450R should solve that issue :) Cheeers !
