1984 Stoker 20, 225 merc. New gel, full cap, new trailer, all new rigging by Joe @ HotLaps. Built to run the enduro with a 50 Fallon tank and no unneeded weight, although it never was used for the Enduro. Neighbor around the corner owned it and never used it. Perfect for mid week, after Labor Day and early morning breakfast runs.

Hard to believe it’s almost 40 years old.

That looks like a Ron Hill Eagle 4 prop….I’ve have one that simply does everything right…top end, hole shot, everything…you’re gonna like it.

I’ve always wanted a Stoker…nice boat

Alan has been messaging me with set up recommendations. I think it’s very cool that he still provides all his knowledge to the owners even thought he retired about 10 years ago.

Couldn’t agree more. He has helped me a bunch with my stoker and it’s very cool to still be able to interact with the legend that built my boat 35+ years ago.

If you have any motor issues there’s another Al in Havasu that knows those Evinrudes like the back of his hand. His shop is called Al’s outboards, he’s retired now and works out of his garage but he’s probably the nicest guy I’ve ever met.

Funny enough- Him and Alan Stoker go way back and they had competing outboard shops back in the 70’s & 80’s and even raced modvp against each other. Al (engine guy) drove for Lavey Craft.

They are both full of knowledge.

Brian Murphy built that boat. He bought it from a guy in Parker, gutted it completely re-rigged it. Built and installed everything for it. I watched him do it. Cut the Kirkey's down, fabbed all the bracketry, tanks, etc. Re-did the trailer too, re-located the axles, re-hung the springs and lowered it. Joe hung the motor.
