Looking for pics of the original control box for a v drive 24 x1

That’s not what it had it has a rectangle hole I believe it was a chrome looking single handle morse

The shifter will be transmission dependent. A v-drive with a TH400 / C6 will require a multi position shifter to select different gears in the transmission. Can't do that with a single combination throttle / shift lever. The Velvet Drive is a forward or reverse only deal that will use a specific shifter. As an example my Spectra has a TH400 with all 3 gears plus reverse and park. I have a foot throttle and shift through the gears with my left hand. You don't necessarily need a picture of a Spectra... you need to find someone with a Velvet Drive and the same shifter you have.

It’s a velvet drive and I’m trying to not modify the hole if possible that’s why I was wanting to see what came in the boat originally

Wouldn’t mind seeing the location of your throttle pedal in relation to the forward bulkhead.
