Cleans up nice! Looks real sharp from 5' away, up close though it needs to be fixed up a bit.. But we're working on it, slowly but surely.

Spectra's lookin GOOD; man that wood is lookin' PROPER! I've done all I can do with mine; it's been sanded too many times. It looks like I'll have to redo the clear if I wanna clean it up any more. It looks good from about 10 feet

RD custom made that himself. He gave us a play by play a while back on how he did it.

LOL It was cool to see a full fledged drag boat on the beach at Foxes though.. and when nobody was around he made a pass or two. (I wasn't there for that, but people were talking about it at the bar..)

This thing isn't a boat for "looks" dude actually gets out there and runs it. Not so sure about the ski life jackets though.

I removed the 1st pic because it had his AZ #'s in it.. I don't want to get the dude in trouble for anything.

That looks like an old T-deck Cole. Great looking boat, and I'm sure there are about 15 minutes each day it would be fun to play with on the strip. :beer

It was actually a Canyon flat runner with a 522 Hemi in it running nitrous that night for a couple afternoon passes....Gary definitely runs it as he did that night.....it was great to watch from foxes dock...the flames being thrown in the dusk were great...another great end to a good 90 degree MARCH weekend...

Haulina29 hasn't even left the river yet and found out there are photos of "NO PEDALS" posted! Now the boss is going to know why they aren't at work this week!

By the way, he confirmed that the flat in front of of Foxes made an "extremely impressive pass", this coming from someone who has been around boat racing for 40 years!

That wake board boat is over the top. He was renting the house across the street from mine, I walked over in the morning and took a look. The boat sat on a really nice triple axle trailer as well. Someone with a cutom background bought a wake board boat. I would love to hear that stereo.

An important footnote, it has a Dick Vale paint job, perhaps one of the last few before health caused Dick to close his shop.

Also, probably the first boat he has owned that didn't have a pair of pedals on the floor to control the thing.

Apparently he will flip the switch on request.

He told me on the phone tonight that it has 8 Arc amps, an Arc equalizer, 9000 watts, runs off 4 batteries that are coupled to a 250 am Balmer alternator with some trick charging system that only charges the batteries that need it. I guess he will get on here sometime after he gets back and add whatever I forgot about the thing.
