I should also point out the city council overrode the mayor's veto of their scheme to defund the police, and one of their plans are to pay any police administrator, including the chief, no more than $150,000 per year.

So the street hustler will be making the same salary as a person with an advanced criminal justice degree and years of experience in police work. That's if they can find someone stupid enough to take the job, the current Chief has resigned.
