Plumbing change going from log to Offshore style manifold

I was probably going to do a block off plate and preheat the water in the bottom of the manifold and then into the block and plumb things the same with the outlet going into the riser and out the boat.

I also found this diagram for a thermostat setup

Any other suggestions?

Should be somewhat simple, we can knock that out in an afternoon with a couple trips to summit and Hose & Fittings.
