Sorry-want to start my own pool thread.

Part of my major life changes will include a home that can garage 10+ cars. Yes, I will need it as I’m already at 7 and want more.

So a home I’m considering is on a slope that overlooks part of the valley. It’s .75 of an acre and kinda terraced in 3 sections. Home on top, room for pool on middle and open space at bottom (garage).
Budget wise-I don’t think I can do a regular pool build for some time.

That’s where this comes in—. www.modpools.com

I could do a glass wall at the end and one one the side looking out over valley.

Think this would be way easier and cheaper than digging into the side of a slope.

Thoughts?!?!

Not sure what kind of money you think you’ll be saving. 30,000 for an 8x20. Plus shipping
That just gets you the pool.
Add in permit costs
Plus, Grade and construct base for the pool with in or above ground
Crane to drop pool in place, if long distance from street it’s gonna be big money to lift that many thousands of lbs over a house to a hillside.
Build walls Or what ever your going to connect deck to or on top of.
You’ll be well into any cost a regular in ground pool would cost to build

Just do a nice above ground and build a deck around it. My buddies parents did that and it looks great and everybody loves it. If you can use the slope to your advantage, it could almost look like a built-in.

Set up the lawn chairs next to the window and watch the boob tube all day.
