curious also. I'll be needing this in a year or two as the plaster seems to be going in spots. I had a guy out doing some other work and he eyeballed it and gave me a verbal of 5-6k for a redo, and it looks to be similar size, but no spa

We were at around $50,000 for new travertine patio, new pool tiles, removing bouldres around the spa and updating it to tile, adding some bar stools around the table and new pebble teck, that was in havasu though

Just finished in Murrieta, 20x40 pool + spa, new tile and pebble = 12k

is this your work, or your pool?

if its your pool, who was the contractor you used, and would you recommend them?

Tim at So-Cal Pools (melloyellovector on RDP) quoted ours a few months ago so we could budget, figure out what we are up against. Similar situation except we have some cracking and a little more extensive repairs than yours. Spoke with Tim today and he will be doing our repairs, retile, replaster once we get on his schedule.

Pebble and new tile, you're probably at around 8-9k. Plaster, probably 6-7

Seems prices in so cal are a little more reasonable then in Havasu. We just had a basic 14x 30 pool re plastered and water line tile for $7,300. Got one quote for close to 11k. You guys got some nice pools 👍🏼👍

I would recommend you budget for new coping. I kept the same one due to my budget at the time. Im not sure u can do it after the fact, wish I would have.

Big Blasters after a few referrals from this site. We were happy dealing with Linda and team . Everything she said she would do , she came through on.
The quote we got for 11 k , I’m sure would have been a better outcome but no way I was able to justify the cost for a basic pool. Wasn’t ready to put money into rest of back yard to match a nice finished pool haha.

10-12 depending on tile selection. This is where it gets pricy lol. They offer basic then you go and look at options and it adds up quick

No one is doing that pool plaster and Tile for 5500! LOL
I am a pool contractor
Approximately- Pool and spa looks to be 120 per ft
Tile is likely 150ft w raised walls and spa dam wall.
( and havasubluelabel if your talking about Kevin crystal clear, he doesn’t have plaster crew, he subs. Known Kevin since he was just a service guy that got into building )

Real Estimate of costs you can expect to pay. And if you talk to a pool contractor that is slow right now, move on. Ain’t worth having them touch your pool. If they’re slow, it ain’t the Rona holding them back.

5500 will cover white plaster remove and replace only - no tile
2250 tile up to group 3
2400 upgrade to mini pebble or quartz finish ( add to plaster cost )
Coping you have cantilever deck, so not a cheap option to change anything with that.
You will need under deck mastic (caulking) between tile and deck. 500 range not included in Tile costs. And if you have a random dude do the tile, they’ll grout like they normally do to bottom of coping. Can’t do that with cantilever deck.

What else do you need to know?
Yes we work in chino
Yes If you use someone else you can Pm me if they’re good or for any advice.

Lastly sorry w delay, been doing photo shoots on projects for last 2 days AM start and not getting home until 10 or so at night. Haven’t been online
