I ordered more yesterday, must take advantage when they offer 25% off!
Where are they 25% off? I've been looking at grabbing a couple and 25% off sure helps!!
They work great. Especially if your knot challenged like me lol. Can’t wait to try them out, heard great things about them.
Those slip a bit in the Danik hooks. Use cheap china dock lines for maximum tractionRecommend TopKnot @ mooringlines.com lines. Minimum 5/8. One for the box anchor and another for the spike. Makes tying up so easy!

If you can’t tie a knot, tie alot....lolThey work great. Especially if your knot challenged like me lol.
Damn, I just paid 39.95 ea. for the danik on amazon.
That slide hook looks identical and half the price!
Great score!
Lol.. you must be doing it wrong..
You can always tie a knot behind the hook for insurance.
This, tie a knot in the end of the rope so it won't slip through, rescue systems training calls it a safety.I've stood there there and watched it happen with the owner of said bote and said high end dock lines. We swapped the dock line to a cheap one of the same size, no slippage.
There is nothing magical going on, the Danik hook works on friction. Some of the nice custom dock lines slip in the Danik hook, I'm assuming because of the material and/or the weave. I'm just saying this as an FYI.. the hook is not 100% foolproof. Mine have never moved, but I don't use it high end custom lines lines.

Saw @02HoWaRd26 used one last year at damn dam run, thought how cool. Picked one up at the LA Boat Show this year, even the park rangers comment on it.
