I don't know the amp draw on a cpap. Could you wire up a secondary, isolated battery and an inverter setup?

On our last trip to the desert, one of the guys in our group was using one of these. You can pre charge them or hook up panels to it to keep it charged. He used it for his little 110 power cooler. Looks like the CPAP is one of the things it advertises for.

I have a few generators, you can borrow one if you want? Located in Apple Valley, on your way out there.

1000, 2000, 3000 watt
Thank you, want to avoid the Gen running all night,

No problem, if it comes down to it then you're welcome to one of them. You can't hear any of them running outside of a trailer.

I just bought an EcoFlow Delta Max a couple weeks ago. It’s a “battery power generator”. It runs a whole construction job trailer for two days, and then recharges in 90 min.
I have to look at that, sounds pretty useful.

What cordless tool system do you use? Most seem to have an inverter that uses a bank of their batteries that could possibly work, just charge the batteries during the day while driving or panels wired up to a charger.

I bought a battery jump pack from costco a few years ago. Its not one of those tiny ones, like the size of a square watermelon
Used it at glamis for my resmed cpap. Night one it didnt make it all night
Night 2 i turned off the humidity option and had no problems

My Jackery Explorer 240 is about the size of a small loaf of bread. Will run my computer and my CPAP for about 2 1/2 nights. Charges up to full from the car's cigarette lighter in about 3 hours. It has 12v 110v and USB ports. About $100 if I remember right. Fugger is heavy though.

There are many informative posts online about building battery boxes using things like a Milwaukee Packout Box and you can use a variety of components and battery options

Milwaukee has a M18 inverter that might be worth looking at

I got to thinking this might be good just to have for power failures, but for some reason Jackery is not recommending anything less than the 500 for CPAP machines. any ideas?

This is from Resmed, I’m not exactly sure how it translates to the power Jackery provides. Anyone?

My cpap machine is 12v input, power cord that comes with it it a 120 ac to 12v dc convertor, check bottom of your machine, it probably says 12v input, so look at amazon for 12v cpap cord, go but a boat battery box with 12v outlet and a new deep cycle rv battery, mine lasts for about 5 days before needs recharged

Since your taking 4 Wheelers you can just carry a Marine Grade 12 Volt Battery and clip onto that. Not sure what wattage your CPAP is running but I have ran my CPAP for 3 nights doing this. If your trying to save weight you can go with the ResMed Lithium Power Station if money is no object, lol. https://www.cpapxchange.com/cart/me...de=C&msclkid=763ea3d35dfd172ffc49c2767988cf6d I want to buy one of these for overnight backpacking when I hit the lotto 🤪
