Still blows my mind that these things can move boats around, especially multi axle rigs. I need one for our new house, do you have to permanently mount the attachment to the trailer tongue? It cant be used with the trailer ball coupler?

Yes, those two adapters mount onto the tongue. However, Ive seen people Make attachments to work with the trailer ball coupler. Others even weld a piece of metal (similar to the one shown in the photo but a little longer) to the bottom of the tongue to use it that way. Another way would be to use the traditional trailer jack (where the wheel is removable) and lift from there. There’s a few options I’ve seen

DO NOT use a trailer ball connector! I tried on my PC3 and it would roll over almost immediately! Use the adapters on the tongue jack or the adaptor plate. They work great as intended.

X2 + add the brake controller. That is a good price. I sold one on here for more.
