I started this project 5.5 months back hoping to be in Parker for Thanksgiving, its gonna be close. Gonna lite it up on saturday or Sunday.

Thanks Danny its a four seat 1 3/4" chromoly frame built on DD jig ( NOT A DD ) but an exact copy in 07', all aluminum LS6 with Pantera EFI individual port injection, MD2 4 speed with 930 CV, Howe 2.5 power steering, 22" travel front and rear, 35" Goodyears on Walker Evans bead locks. The car was a fucking mess when I bought it, I stripped it down to the frame and rebuilt it correctly. It will be interesting to see how it runs as Ive never built one before. I plan on running the 425 Pre Run in this car.

Yeah I know the cv's are the weak link but Im not raceing or abusing, just a family desert car for the winter. When they break is when Ill upgrade to 934's.

Glad to here you're going with a decent EFI system and not some bargain or stock pos, that's are a pita to tune.... :thumbsup

Lance's Pantera system is pretty legit, full 8 channel, and live programmable. Me and DaveH have worked on a couple in the past.

Yeah Lance is a character to talk too, he sent me all the disks and info I needed to wire it correctly and it fired right up tonight. I love it when shit works without trouble shooting, leaks or head scratching. I'll run it tomorrow on the laptop and see how the tuneup is currently setup.:thumbsup

I was on my way to visit my sister in Costa Mesa a couple years back and went by his shop to pick up a set of coils for DaveH since i was passing right by anyway, ended up hanging out and BS'n with him for probably 2 hours, talking about old Offy stuff, and all sorts of other gearhead shit. He is one pretty sharp guy :thumbsup definitely a character

It all came together nicely without any problems. Axcels, CV joints, tires and body panels to go.

Got the joints and axcels in and ran it through the gears, clutch seems a little tight. Just how much shit can you stuff in a center console ? As much as you can !

Car ran bitchen, better that I expected, I brought it back home to de-rattle all the panels and finish the hood. The "Goodyears" worked great, dont plan on replacing them till they wear out.

Finished the hood reliefs and the derattling of all the panels. Got the spare tire rack mounted along with the license plate frame just gotta safety wire the cv bolts and wrap the axels. Get this thing to Parker and get it registered.:beer

You may be able to save yourself a trip to Parker by using this company to register the car. This is how I registered my Rhino in AZ. It might be worth a phone call to try before driving all the way out there.

Thanks for the info, Im heading to Parker anyways and I already started the registration process with MDV. Their snag was a copy of the bill of sale and notary and hopefully I've fixed that and they'll hand me a vin# and a plate before I leave.:fsakes

Going to see Lance tomorrow morning on the way to Parker. He's gonna tune the car while Im driving it, he's got a remote sensor that plugs in to the car and the laptop. Should be pretty interesting.:thumbsup

Managed to get a few more things done on the car. Lost front two rotors on the pre-run , due to poor manufacturing the pads sheared off the backing plates. Finished the exhaust and Im next installing the window nets. Then heading to the chassi dyno for some tuning.

Went to the chassi dyno today for some EFI mapping and tuning. Pulled just under 400 HP at the rear wheels. Gonna next pull the EFI off and set and adjust all the linkage correctly and go back in few weeks for some full pulls. We also pulled "Badczek" race car for some tuning before Glen Helen next week. It was a fun day and nothing broke.

Pretty good numbers. What are you hoping for after the adjustments?

Just a little more. Having not built the motor, 400 was not bad at the wheels. Weight to HP ratio was what I wanted to find out, the tuning and mapping was the main target.:thumbsup
