So, having gone through chemo, radiation and surgery, twice, in the last few years, some functions are not working as they used to. Discussed this with my Oncologist and she prescribed one of the male recreation drugs. So I go to my local Walgreens to pick it up, it's not covered under my drug plan and the cost is $264 for a 30 day supply. I almost said OK, but these are widely advertised, so I head home and start doing some Internet shopping. Long story short, I find a coupon at Goodrx.com for Costco for $18.70 for a 30 day supply. Call the Dr., have the prescription sent over to my local Costco store, their normal price is $39.39, and they honor the coupons.
Of course, since I'm at Costco, I pick up a few items and a new cell phone. I spent $1,450, but I saved $245 on my prescription.

Sorry to hear of the challenges you have faced. The wife was in the second cycle of chemo over Thanksgiving and 4 more to go. Been through brain tumor, radiation and chemo before the current round. I would not wish this on anyone!!!!

Best of luck to you moving forward.

I wish the best for your wife. I had a very good team taking care of me. Their advice was this is not a sprint, it is a marathon. Take one day at a time. Been off all treatments for 6 months and feeling almost back to normal.

Once the word Costco came into play I knew the outcome was gonna be expensive.
Glad to hear your feeling somewhat normal again, I couldn't imagine what some of you have been through with this nasty disease.

It’s popular to go to the Q casino East of Yuma, park for $8 and walk over to Mexico to get prescriptions.
You can take your empty prescription bottles and they’ll put the meds in those if you like.

One of our kids needs a drug not avail in the US but we get it mail order from Canada. Motilium.

Trouble is Canada restricts the quantity we can buy so we end up at the Q.
Drug Cost and availability was our issue.

Cat picked up an e coli infection and daily meds would be $48 per day for 3 months for the better treatment.

A Q run solved that issue.

The Quechuan casino itself has backed into hell. A shithole. Its parking and access to Mexico is the only asset.

It is good to hear that the Lee is hope ahead of us. Some days it is hard to have a positive outlook on things. I know that it 1000 times more difficult as a patient. The crappy thing is that i feel it will be a total of one year of our lives gone because of this. I hope that is all that we loose.

I don’t even sweat the large stuff anymore. My attitude has changed significantly towards just about everything. I stay positive and I hang with positive people.
