Rather than waiting a couple of weeks --- I'll try to help here, because I for one was very curious about this vintage hydro.
This particular boat is a replica of the original G-13 My Sin that was powered by a Miller V-16 and later with an Allison V-12 during its "Gold Cup" fame years. The original had an amazing record holding history. Now powered by a 502 Chevy with 570 HP, it puts out about the same HP as the original Miller V-16 !! This boat is also a bit shorter. The article below is from 2008.
Cracker Box ?? Mr. Games needs to send some of you guys to boat school ;)

Love a woody Hydro!! Not sure about the limited power if you are going to recreate one though?

Nice to see that he spent as much money on the trailer as he did the boat. Steel wheels and all. LMAO! :D

Stay safe up there and thank you for what you do!

That is my buddy Scott Courts 1930's hydro "My Sin" it is a 502 in it. Very nice clean piece. He was headed either to or from a wood boat show on the Delta somewhere.

Scott had told me that these boats were originally used by the Japanese to blow up ships. They would load them up with explosives and ram a ship to try and sink it.
