Those pics from right now? Where's everyone at if so? Lol...
Used to be cool when you could go kick it up by the spillway.

Wife is having a girls college reunion weekend. And 3-4 phone calls came up empty. It’s me and the two dogs.

Btw yea I’m the jackass solo launching at nautical. Feel free to move the truck if I’m in your way lol

Looks like good times w/ the pooch's ! 👍
I'm not too familiar with that portion of the river. What's the building that's under construction, or 'was' under construction ?

That’s awesome.. I went up there with @Bullhead bully once but we didn’t exactly stop and smell the roses running 100+ the whole way.. lol. I’d like to take my toon up there but am scared to death of rock bars

I know the line but today you didn’t need to. If you can legitimately read water you’re ok.

And if you have to shut it down and re calibrate that’s fine.

However better be on your “Parker/A game” dodging sea doos.

You launched at the Nautical and went up to Laughlin? Holy shit man. That's a ride

Solo with 2 dogs. Only thing I fucked up on was a cell phone charger.

The building "under construction" has been a skeleton for over 30 years, from what I recall, developer went BK and no one picked it up to continue. Definitely an eye sore that's for sure. Always wondered why it was never torn down I am sure somebody owns the land (Bank? Tribal?) perhaps there are no laws/ordinances and its obviously cheaper to let it sit and decay. (its basically all metal and cement) For location.. its down river from Laughlin, I'm sure one of the locals here can give more info .
We have done the Laughlin to London Bridge and back several times. Its a all day trip but fun, great going through the gorge, only a few places to gas up. Certainly don't want to break down if your at the other end of where your staying. It can take 3-4 hrs 1 way but we would float as well as run hard so it could be a quicker trip if you opened it up the whole way (traffic permitting)

These are great photos, the sad part of the story is the now defunct Colorado Belle, spent many a day and night there years ago. won some, lost some used to have pretty decent restaurants as well. Signs of the times I guess. Another thing that is NOT shown in these pictures is the abundance of Lake Lice in front of the casinos, thus, the reason for the washing machine water conditions

That's Emerald River Resort and Casino. It was supposed to be built in the early 90s. I actually sent away for the video you could order of the place back in the day. They built the golf course first and then couldn't get water rights (this is what I heard at the time). But I think they lost their financing when the junk bond deal took a hit back in the late 80s and early 90s . I have the sales brochure and video for my condo complex which is up river on the Bullhead side and you can see the golf course in it.

What's the latest report on Laughlin? Casinos wide open, restaurants back in business? We will (hopefully) be there is September (Hallett's in Havasu) By looking at the pictures, no shortage of folks on the water, Davis looks packed as well, crowds = good economy

You can see the golf course across the river. This was probably right around 1990 or 1991.

@hallett21 that epic! Good to see someone stretching there legs and not scared to burn some fuel! I would love to learn that line up to that dam. I’m looking for a little seadoo boat to try and explore places without worrying about outdrive or prop. Furthest I ever go is to the last set of houses past the bridge then turn boat off and float back down river.

That looks like fun! I need to try that, after I buy a cheaper prop!
