Took the boat out for the first time this season.. As Tom would say "Bad ass on four month old pump gas". lol. Needless to say we took it easy.
I was originally going to take the family on Saturday but Sierra had a fever so they all stayed home. I called Tom to see what he was up to and he ended up grabbing Bre and met me at my house. my son Daniel has always had the hots for Bre so it wasn't surprising when he left Mom behind to go boating with us.
after reading some of the threads on rdp we decided to try the new launch ramp at Windsor four. That thing does have a pretty wicked angle to it but it didn't give us any problems. I really like the fact that there was almost nobody there.
Pretty bad ass Shockwave deckboat that was launching next to us.
This Sunsation was HUGE!! Pretty sure the guy didn't even see me until I pulled around the side of him! lol
I can't remember who this is on RDP, but I know someone here just bought Dark Angel
after we got in the boat Daniel realized he forgot his sunglasses. it was about that time that I realize I left my wallet in the truck. Tom suggested we go over to the nautical and get Daniel some sunglasses. As it turns out uncle Tom is a bit of a pushover because Daniel came walking out of the store with not only new shades but a toy about that I'm sure required financing as well. lol
We ran down to Steamboat and hung out for an hour before heading back. We saw OldSchoolBoats and Chuck (Cole Trickles dad) hanging out at rotary so we stopped and had a beer with them for a bit. Also met a couple
of other nice people (Mike and Amy).
After that we did the parade lap through the channel. That's a whole different subject.. lol. I don't know how people can recognize each other in that zoo. I can't see that far and if I don't see a boat I recognize then I dunno who the heck is saying hello! There was someone on one of Dallas's cabana boats that yelled out to us twice.. first time I couldn't see where it came from. The second time I couldn't put together who it was. A girl on the same cabana boat yelled out and I had to do a double take because I thought it was someone, but the. ai looked again and I couldn't tell who it was.. Who knows I'm blind as a bat. Whoever that was sorry we didn't stop, we were on a bit of a timeline to get my son home for dinner.
