I couldn't spend that kinda money on a box.

A scrap piece of plywood and 5 minutes on the table saw to cut everything to size, 10 minutes with a brad nailer and some wood glue, a piece of all thread, a TEE nut, a wingnut and a few washers is how I make my prop boxes.

Go to Harbor freight and buy a knock off pelican case for $25 bucks. Problem solved. If ya really need. Add a plastic bottom with a center pin

Yes the Chicago cases are decent. They make two sizes. The 17" box fits bravos and 15" or so cleavers nicely. The 19" boxes are a lot bigger but fit the 16.5" and larger cleavers.

The ones I got are 19x19x9” interior so plenty of room for these Maximus 5 blades or cleavers if I ever go to surface drives in the future. I figure for 10% the cost of these props they’ll be totally protected when not on the boat.

If anyone cares to do it on a budget, $5 plastic bin/tub from Walmart holds our Bravo prop perfectly.

If your just doing bravos, max5 or Maximus I much prefer the $30 padded bags on Amazon. Those cases will be giant for a Maximus. I only do the hard cases for cleavers as they are so damn sharp and more delicate.

I looked at those too. These are short tube and 15-5/8”

If you have a $3,500+ prop spending $250 on a case is the least of your worries 🤣

Got the cases. They’re perfect. Same ones DCB sells on their website but obviously not branded as such. They told me if we wanted them branded we would need to order 10 or more.
