Pull Tractor Build

I thought this would be a cool place to show some of the hands on builds I was able to work on went to college. I really did not know how to weld (TIG/Stick) or us machines prior to my college experience. After this project I became a fairly decent welder and learned the start through finish process in a design build fabrication process. Over the past few years I have accumulated equipment and try to find time to get back into custom fabrication. Your build threads give me inspiration and feel privileged to read about your member?s projects and builds.

My portion of this project ended with the frame and role cage. Another student did the design & build on the front axel. One of my professors finished this project for his neighbor and made it what it is today.

No, I went to Pomona in the early 80's. My son's buddy is a M/E at SLO. He has pretty good access to the shops and said they are pretty nice.

Any one that is interested, The Cal Poly Tractor Pull Club will be hosting the annual Truck and Tractor Pull at the Cal Poly SLO open house April 14 at 1 PM. It is a fun show and put on by the students in the Cal Poly Tractor Pull Club.
