My old boy turned 11 a few days ago. I helped birth him.

He has been the best dog I have ever had. All my dogs have been good dogs, but this one has been the best.

Our Border Collie/ Basenji hybrid is about to turn 11 months.

30 lbs of crazy ,smart ,athletic, love and craziness.

Dog opens doors ,escapes cages and absolutely hates when she is not with us. Picks up tricks and commands without trying. Super good off leash and with other people and dogs.

Still a pita…lol

Stormy doing her morning laps in the pool. She learned to swim at the River. But wouldn't go past the first step. Now we can't keep her out. Put a new gate in yesterday to keep her out of pool area.

Pretty much the same story here. I let the two Labs out this morning at 6:00am to pee and they both headed directly for the pool for a few laps.

… wish I had photos of the two dogs we had up in the big Tujunga Canyon one was a very large Rottweiler named Buster he was absolutely charming but without a doubt the dumbest dog I’ve ever seen…

.. Our other dog Bear was a quarter Shepherd …quarter Lab …quarter Sharpay and I can’t remember what the other quarter was???… These two dogs had 4 fenced in acres to themselves and they had nothing but fun

My new hound. Been a few years since the last one. Goes by the name of Senna. She’s a mini golden doodle. I haven’t met her yet. My sister isn’t making the delivery until October 7. Wish us luck 😂

This is Charlee, 6 months old English Lab and she is like a Tasmanian Devil, she's chewing everything, cabinet corners, leather sofa ottomans, throw rugs, her pee pads, bottoms of the slider blinds at the sliding glass door, everything, and it's not like she doesn't have enough chew toys. She destroys her new toys within a half hour, and my wife keeps buying her squeaky toys, ugh! She eats so fast we had to get her a puzzle bowl to slow her down food consumption. And I'm surprised she has any hair, it's everywhere. She's a spazz, she doesn't quit. After our boxer passed I didn't want another dog due to the training and emotional heartbreak when they pass. This is the wife's dog, she wanted another dog to fill her empty nest syndrome since our boys had moved out a few years ago - she gets to take care of her, waking in the middle of the night, cleaning up her messes, etc. I'm not a dick, I just did not want another dog, she did and I stated my reasons why I didn't. I compromised and I lost, so now she gets to deal with it. Look at her, she's got that look like, "What? I didn't do anything.....".

oh my gosh! Our friends have a English lab Just about a year old. She is the Tasmanian devil as well. They have two other labs that are mellow as they come. Then you throw in the third. It is comedy at its best. I absolutely adore the energy but could not imagine her being my puppy. LOL

Pup made it a year before wiping out his first shoes. Chew toys are ripped to shreds immediately. Same with water and Gatorade bottles. He’s got a couple key fobs but only toyed with them and got bored.

Wife wore these yesterday for the first/last time.

We had to put our Shih Tzu Misha to sleep at 16 in March and said...we are not getting another dog.... well we made it through summer.. Meet Parker...

He is like the Joe Biden of dogs... he pretty much screws up anything he touches, eats his own poop, screams when he does not get his way....but he is sweet for about 20 min a day so we put up with him.. :)

Well, no more knotted toys for our Charlee, she took a dump yesterday and had about 2 feet of crap laden coarse threads hanging out of her ass, I held her and my wife slowly pulled out about another 18". We need to find something that doesn't get destroyed in 30 minutes, but what? All the clear urethane toys she chews up and eats, all the nylon toys for chewers she destroys within minutes. I don't want to giver her any bones and have her grind her teeth away yet. Tennis balls she does pretty good with, but they all have squeakers in them, ugh! She even destroyed a guaranteed-not-to-be-destroyed toy in 20 minutes. Any help would be appreciated.

A 5 gallon bucket with the lid on it. Drill a few small holes in it. And stick some different size treats in it. Makes a lot of noise as they thrash it around. But takes a few days for them to destroy it. Cheaper than most toys that last 30 minutes.

On a side note. We found a good trainer. 10 classes at the zoom room. $800 later our dog learned nothing. We now go to a trainer that knows what He is doing. Dog learns something every class. They teach French Ring training. If you don't have the time They will take your dog for 3 weeks and board and train.
