So in getting things sorted out on the Scarab for this summer, I noticed one of the rectangular PVS plugs on my Laser is missing. This raises a couple questions...
1. I looked online but my foo must be lacking because I couldn't find the rectangular plugs. Anyone got a source?
2. What are everyone's experiences with PVS plugs on through transom exhaust I/Os? I can see how it would really help a through-hub exhaust setup, but in situations with no exhaust to create that compressible layer, is there any value? The reason I ask is because if I can't find plugs, I could always pull the remaining ones and epoxy them closed or have them welded and polished. But if others have had positive experiences ventilating smaller 21" props in smaller (21-22') boats with smallblock power, I may try and whip up some new plugs to drill out to various size holes.
