I have a LineX bedliner and it has some rust stains on it. Is there anyway to remove the rust stains, or can you paint over the bed liner with black paint? I have heard a 50/50 solution of CLR and water will remove it. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks.

Have tried a good ole power wash? Maybe with a stiff bristle brush. Use a spray tip with a decent fan so you don't put lines in the liner. I would give that a shot first.

I haven't tried that, but I read online that someone had tried that and it didn't work.

White vinegar and a stiff brush followed by a good general cleaning will do wonders.

If vinegar doesn't do it try Coca Cola and a scrub brush. ;)

OK, vinegar didn't phase it. CLR didn't Faze it. I didn't try coca cola. A buddy had some stuff called LA Awesome....it worked like a champ.

That's what I use to remove the grungy water line on the hull of the boat, I never tried it on rust but will keep that in mind.:thumbsup
