25ish depending on if I've done any other shoulder workouts that day or the day before.

When I was in my mid 50's I got on a kick where I tried to work myself up to 100 each morning. I could make it to 85-86 and then crash. Found if I did 50 and stopped for just a couple minutes, I could power on and do 50 more to reach my 100. Now...my left shoulder is trashed, my right shoulder yells at me every day, and the biceps and tendons in both arms always seem to hurt.

I was gonna say, I cant sleep at 4:30 cause I frequently start work at 5. Although not much physical labor these days.

About 30ish.
About half what I "usedacould", takes twice as long to do them and will hurt like hell.

My wrist hates pushups. The angle doesn’t work for me. I lift though, very rarely do I do pushups. I know I could bang out a couple sets of 50 though because I do when we travel sometimes.

How about pull ups? The bigger and older I get the harder they are. 3 sets of ten on a pull up bar is a good set for me. Not sure how many I could do at once if I tried? I’m 6’ 210lbs. When I was in the Army, and 160lbs, I could do 100 pullups with a couple breaks.

As I look at this again...I just had a flashback to physical therapy.

At the time of my wreck, I was in really good shape. After...not so much. The PT guy asked me to do some pushups. I was on those blue floor mat things. I railed off 10 or so, pretty proud of myself, and looked at the guy. That guy had done this before...he looked at the imprints in the pad, and could tell I was using majority right arm. He walked over, and got a yoga ball. I was a bit confused. He then tells me put my knees on the ball, and try again. Not on the pad, but on the floor. In my head, no problem, easier pivot. In reality, coudn't balance or favor the side that was working. Crashed my face to the floor. Between that moment, and not being able to do 1lb tricep extensions, got real humble, real quick. Oh, and adding insult to injury, did you know 1lb dumbbells were pink? I didn't.

...Now if I were to visualize myself doing one push-up...could that be counted as I actually did a push-up...asking for a friend...

The reason you can’t sleep at 4:30 is because it’s time to go to work. Stop trying to sleep in.

I am currently fat and out of shape. I work in a cubicle and the pneumonia this summer took what was left of any conditioning out of my body. I am actually currently working on putting together a workout routine and changing all of this, but that has not been implemented yet. before I saw this thread, I was thinking I needed to start on the elliptical tonight and go from there on the rest of the plan. Something in my life says its time to make some changes, I no longer do enough physical work to maintain any type of conditioning. Desks are murder........

Knocked out 51 in 30 seconds about a week ago...some contest at the gym. Cardio is my issue. Huffing and puffing pretty good at that point.

25. Then another set of 20ish. Then I tend to fall of a cliff after that.

Do these push up bars help? It seems it would help not put stress on your wrist.

Been a while since I’ve cranked out a max set of push ups...

Just got to the gym, planned on doing chest today so I gave it a run, 104.
