What do drinks typically cost on board? I can’t drink 15 a day anymore. lol

Honestly I don't know but if you get the drink package you're wife/ girlfriend has to get it too. I'm guessing on a 4 day its close 300.00 maybe more. We did it o e time and tapped out twice never again. You say you don't drink that much but maybe a bloody at breakfast a few beers by the pool a drink or two at dinner and a couple at the casino. If you don't drink that much then don't buy the package and leave booze on the table

The drink package brings the drinks to an average of $5.50 a piece. It also includes all specialty coffee, sodas, energy drinks etc that do not count against the 15 drinks. Sound like a no-brainer to me.

As for the drink packages. Still debating. We have done them before. We have free casino drinks and I just don’t drink much honestly. Dave did run out last time but I will never drink 15 drinks in a day so he just took mine.

On my other cruises on Carnival both room occupants have to get the drink package not just one so I don’t get it.

So on the drink package it only allows you 15 drinks a day sounds like alot but once you hit 15 you are done you can only get a drink like every 7 minutes again sounds like who would dink that fast without the drink package i can go to the bar and order a bucket of beers with the drink package you cannot

Ensenada is fun. To get to the main drag is an easy walk from the harbor. Only a few short blocks. All the cruise drunks come strolling in to Papas and Beer. It gets loud and rowdy for a couple hours, then they leave and it gets back to a dull roar. Never felt unsafe there.

Damn they really changed the rules on these. It used to be if you drank 15 it was worth it. Not a limit of 15. Used to be able to get one drink package per room. Wife drinks like 2 drinks if that. So I would usually just grab one or 2. I did hear some time ago they did require both occupants to obtain one. Not sure it would pencil out for me anymore.

I’m wondering if we ended up using my girlfriend’s drink package then after mine clapped out? She barely drinks a beer if anything but I thought I remembered using my CC after my drink package maxed out.

Wonder if they cap your CC now if you don’t purchase the drink package but exceed 15 drinks on your CC?

I couldn’t but what I did do is order seltzers and beers as they give them to you not open and so I could max out the drink package. Then I kept them in the room fridge and took them on port days.

You wake up and buy a round of 4 Bloody Mary’s at breakfast for the table. You then head over to the pool at lunch and there’s another four cocktails for the other couple. By dinner time you’re bumping up against that 15. It gets there quick.
