Also a challenge when the kids want to disembark. Without a side door, it is a NO from me.Hallett 340's are really nice boats and can handle any water that you will ever have.
It may be a challange to tow any distance with your F-150 but should be ok back and forth to the ramp.

let me translate this; Stacy was in Palm Springs this past weekend and this is NOT an approved purchase!!! LoLNo, I got about 1/2 way through doing everything I was going to do to the boat when Summer came again and I ran out of time. My next plan was to put a glass dash in it / gps and ditch the gauges all together. I love my 270, and it was going to be my forever boat... The deal that came up with the 340 I just couldn't pass up, so that's the only reason I'm selling it, is I can't afford both. As said earlier, I'm going to take delivery of my new 340 either later today or tomorrow... I'm happy to put that one up for sale, and if it sells I'll keep my 270 or vice versa. Both are extremely nice.
You’re going to need to explain “approved”let me translate this; Stacy was in Palm Springs this past weekend and this is NOT an approved purchase!!! LoL

it always is. . .My cost to put the side door in... is surprisingly “affordable.”

Is it more or less than wrapping your trailer a week before DS?
More.. lol. But worth it.
Dave,
who did the butcher block? That would look great in my Hallett.
My buddy Chris did it. I’m gonna tell you in advance it isn’t cheap! Lol. I can give you his number if you want

Probably more than the side door conversion...
Not that much, but it involves a comma and the first number isn’t gonna be a 1. Lol.
You're up early!!!!
Then gotta meet Mellowowvector

Are the kids incapable of using the swimstep and ladder in the back?

You just toss them off onto the beach, it's only a 9 foot dropAlso a challenge when the kids want to disembark. Without a side door, it is a NO from me.

You could have a gang bang in the 340 cabin and not disturb the wife while she's making sandwichesYes but he needs to push them out that side door real fast when he is ready to start on another.
How did we go from a herd of kids to THAT???
Likely why RD wants to keep the 340.You could have a gang bang in the 340 cabin and not disturb the wife while she's making sandwiches
Do you even know how babies are made?
You're up early!!!!
Gotta take the 270 over to a Saleen to get it perfect for the weekend. .
Then gotta go run the 340 to Pirates. The. Gotta write the Eliminator and Classic boat regatta articles. Then gotta meet Mellowowvector..
Busy freakin day, and I didn’t Goto bed until 3:30 am.
Not really, RD is just anxious because he is starting to envision life without his balls if one of these aren't sold before Stacy finds a knife.Couldn't sleep? Excited to get your new boat in the water???

You are out of sequence here. Joes kids would be on the beach at that point. Refer to post #89 - "drop kids 9' off bow down on to sand below".Brother I've got 4. You dont need to worry about me!
I was more shocked that we went from talking about Joe's kids in the cuddy to a gangbang all within one single post!

The Hallett I grew up in didn't even have a back seat, but it did have a Holman Moody 427 side oiler.Right??? We all grew up without a beach door and live to tell about it!
I've been there several times myself. Here is a word of advice from my experience. Always have an accomplice. Then you don't have to worry about out running the bear, you just have to be faster than your accomplice. You’d be more right than you think. Lol.
