RDP Site upgrade this weekend

We are going to be updating the site to the latest software (which means yes you finally get your emojis back)!

It is possible that rdp might go offline for a short time during the change over.

the new site front page will be developed on the live site and will have a ton of new features and a much better content layout.

The entire website will be even more mobile friendly than it was before and easier to use!

One of the big things I’m excited about is an entirely new and custom coded for a RDP only classified system that is considerably better than anything else I found out there in forum land.

Please have patience at the site is off line it won’t be very long for it to upgrade

I have been working on this thing off and in for a year.. Nothing beats the stress of traveling / not having a laptop and watching things get developed on a live site while the users are beta testing and breaking shit left and right. . That’s what gets me going in the morning.. lol.

Seriously it will be pretty cool for the members to see the front page and classifieds come together live.. I think the classifieds is going to be a game changer.

On another site that I visit every member had a "gas gauge". The more likes that your posts got, the fuller you're tank got but the more dislikes that you're posts got, the emptier your tank got. Once your tank was empty you couldn't post anymore until someone gave you more gas (likes). It was a pretty cool feature but lended itself to abuse.

Good luck Dave..... Technology upgrades/ updates etc are a shit show out of the gate. I bet Iowa caucus was told it'd be turnkey, lol. My Oracle, MS & SAP friends all tell me buying tech is like buying a vehicle and then learning how to drive..... come to think of it that's just like boating as we all know, right. We all learned how to operate our boats after purchase!
