Please share your pre 1975 Hot Rods and muscle cars and feel free to include unfinished projects as well as older sports cars or classics. Post some pics we haven't seen already (if possible). Give details as well as how long you've owned them, where you take em and what their used for. I know a lot of you guys have some bitchin vintage cars so let's see 'em. :thumbsup Modern drive trains ok. :D

65' Fairlane - First car my Dad bought new before my time---He started some work on it and I finished it , or I should say it's getting closer but runs and drives pretty well--351W , Toploader, 9"

Well that's different! Not many '65's get that kinda of love! :thumbsup:thumbsup Gotta love the 4 speed! Is it factory? What's in the motor? Have you ran it down the Qtr mile? I like a nice factory interior. Very cool car!

What's the definition of hot rod? My grandpa is the original owner of a 1972 Toyota Celica with the 18r motor pushing 75hp at the crank. Would love to share it!

Kind of a sleeper there eh? :D Probably does freeway burnouts I would guess. :eek:eek Beautiful!!!!!

66 Nova I sold some time ago. Boyd built the car and I sold it just prior to Boyd passing away, wish I had not sold it! Motor was a 434 small block built by Bill Jenkins himself

Falls under the category of older classic I guess. There can't be many of those still around. Let's see it! :thumbsup

No fenders, three peddles and buggy sprung.

I do love early Toyotas and Five Dimes.

This thread should have some legs, some beautiful and super clean cars already, the convertible Fairlane is bad ass!!

65 El Camino, not sure if I will ever finish this one, seems to get put on a back burner all the time, this was my High School Car and I am second owner, my Uncle bought it brand new. Plans for the car are pro street, BBC, and low to the ground.

Everybody's seen my stuff, so I'll post things that pass through the shop. I don't take a ton of pics there, but every once in a while take my phone out and snap some. The shop has produced some show stuff, but most of what we do is early rod and custom drivers.

1963 Chevy Greenbrier van. Corvair drivetrain with a 110hp flat 6 and a 4 speed. Ive gone through pretty much everything to get her road worthy. Gonna be used for beach and camping trips. Or just to take the kid to school

1976 Chevy C10 my pops bought in ?76 and gave to me on my 16th bday. Rebuilt the 350 and installed a 700R4 for a nice highway cruise. Airbagged it in 2001 and have never looked back. Shaved and painted it in 2005. Spends a lot of her time in the garage nowadays. I?ll never let her go though. To many memories

If you search for "Miracle Peddle Car Company" there might be some out there. The company was sold and I can get you in touch with the guy who owns it. That is the first car that was built and won't be sold. We saved enough parts to build one for Richard and one for me, but they are chassis only. Each body is hand formed aluminum. Richard said he saw one for sale, still in the crate, at Hershey a couple of years ago.

I bought this car in 1992 from a guy in Poway, CA that was selling a huge collection. He was dying of cancer and said that no one in his family deserved any of the cars. My wife and I were young and rolled up in our 1965 Malibu SS that we went to the prom in and drove home from the wedding in (4 years later and still have it.) I had a '70 396 coupe in college that I had to sell to stay in college. When I got my first job I began searching for another and was not interested in a convertible. We saw this sitting next to a red SS 454 convertible and the price was not bad. My wife looked at the interior and noticed the 6500 RPM redline on the tach and said, "hey, it's got an L78." I popped the hood and not only did it have the correct manifold but aluminum heads! I made a deal right away and when I tore the engine down the intake and 074 heads had the same date code, 4 weeks prior to the date code of the car. The body was the 4th built by Fischer and the VIN showed it was the 3rd '70 produced (4th week of July 1969). The owner said he bought it in Santa Monica in 1971 and was the first to title it. He said it was a GM show car to showcase the new '70 Chevelle and when it hit the dealership in late 1970, it sat next to new '71s with a 454 for $3K less and went unsold. It has very odd options, L89 396, M21 close ratio 4 speed, 12 bolt 4.10 posi, F41 suspension, power top, power windows, AM/FM. Not your typical beach cruiser. Original paint was desert sand with black stripes. The guy I bought it from gave it the tuxedo look and I love it. It sold at Mecum Indy a few years back and I really miss it. It ended up in New York and the new owner pulled the motor and trans and made a pro touring car out of it. At lease I has fun with it for 20+ years (and made a few bucks!)

We normally wouldn't build a long bed, but this was given to us and got XJ suspension front and rear and Cadillac power.

Lots of bad ass cars in this thread!! [emoji106]
This is our 72 nova I'm partners in with a good friend. It's got a 565" Chevy and we run the nostalgia B/Gas class mostly in famoso. I finally gave up the driving duty this year and put my son in the car... little shit went out and won the first race of the season!!
