Ready to test. Got the radiator hoses installed and bent that stainless tube for the lower plumbing. Air filters are typically mounted top side but I mounted it front and low so it doesn't block my view and to lower the overall height.
I know it's a bit rough but I need to test it before I invest anymore time into it. I'm concerned about the radiator size. I've been firing it up daily and just smiling. Plans are to rebuild the whole thing, once it makes enough money to do so. In the meantime I'll make a belt guard that fits, belt guard for the front of the engine, clean up wiring, and weld a bung into the fuel tank for the fuel return instead of plumbing it through the fuel cap as it is now.

Nice little project. Reminds me of being a kid and seeing my uncle with drawings and parts etc for the original Soff-cut concrete cutting machines out of corona california. He was one of the couple beginning designers with the owner and owners son and a few buddies. Then they got bought buy husquvarna and thats that story haha uncle is living in new zealand the past 10 years now

I’ve been working on getting my old crawler sorted back out to get it on the trail again.

This afternoons project was engine and trans mounts.

You think these were bad?

A buddy wants me to restore a desk from the early 1900s. I recommended doing a couple of bow ties, but he wanted me to try an epoxy fill. It's for his grand daughter to do arts and crafts while he's baby sitting.

Okay let's try the epoxy, as long as his grand daughter doesn't try to keep opening the desk lid past the hinges it should be fine. If not I'll do some bow ties.

2nd time out in the wild. Its not over heating. Running 160*-170*. Has a 158* thermostat. Now I feel more comfortable spending money on it to make it nice... only need like $6k. Short story, it was a 37hp gas powered saw that I repowered with a 32hp turbo diesel and the upper and lower chassis are from 2 different model saws I mated to each other. Built it myself from all graveyard parts. From initial thought to today has been 14 months. Will fit through a 3-0 door.

Using a D1105-T Kubota turbo diesel. It had a Nissan A15 engine. 4 cylinder forklift engine pretty much.
Was the A15 dead? Have a customer with a forklift...compression ranging from 35psi to about 75....it's a miracle it still starts!

This arrived late yesterday.
I'll fill it with oil, connect the battery, run it 45 minutes and change the oil, then run it a couple hours more and change the oil again & clean the spark arrestor, then change the oil every 100 hours. It'll take the place of one of the HF Predator 3500's. Covers about the same height and foot print as the HF 3500, will run two RV AC's and the microwave simultaneously.:

What is it going in?
My brothers 86 elite motorhome 😂. Came with a cat V8pos. Fixed it. 2300 on the governor, 70 mph, not towing.

Buy a city bus. Pull the motor. Rebuild sleeves etc. Up the turbo to 86x1. Upgrade the fuel system. Better springs. Add a brake. Air to water intercooler. Governor to 3200.
Fun part will be putting it on the chassis Dyno to break it in.🤣

Finishing up converting the laundry room/storage into a stacked washer and dryer and full bath. Going to use a stainless steel kitchen sink so that it will be like a laundry tray with pull out faucet. Looking forward to getting this done. Still have to order up glass doors for all the bathrooms. 👍 Then going to rip out the windows and kitchen sometime this year as well. That is a bout it.:oops::oops::oops:
